And again, lovely charcoal

I drew this right next to the male face, with the intend to color her as I did with him, but I loved how the charcoal blended with gesso and decided to only add some background and leave the face as is.

Still with masculine features if you consider her wide neck and face, she has a captivating look.

Cu trasaturi masculine, daca te iei dupa latimea gatului si a fetei, are o privire captivanta.

And here is after I added white gesso. . .it blends so nicely!

Notice the hallow I’ve created around her head only by adding fine lines with a graphite pencil and then gently smoothing everything. Also, the background was meant to look “old and dusty”, and I left it as you can see without adding anything else on it, although at first I wanted to journal around her. 😉

Well, that’s it! What have you been journaling lately?

Pe curand,
Cristina
