Blue hair and scribbled collage

I love this art journal page for how authentic and gorgeous it is! I planned to add more color over the scribbling marks, but then I suddenly realized that I don’t want to touch it any bit! It’s perfect the way it is, and this way I’m sealing a dear memory to remember over the years. These scribbling marks will anyway end in the trash bin at some point, my son already has a bunch of journals he plays with crayons, markers or pencils, so I’m saving best pages that fit my journals theme. In sone of his journals I even drew quick faces I can now simply collage in this art journal or any other journal if I want to!

Right before adding water

As for this face, I lightly sketched it directly on this art journal page using a regular blue pen, adding two little hearts on her cheeks πŸ’– just for fun.

And because this art journal has thin pages of only 80gms(-54lb) any collage will help build the page thickness so you can use more water if ever needed. I plan on adding more collage in this journal and play around to see different results. I prepared a stash with faces from magazines that would also go well as collaged pages in this B6 art journal.

What have you been up to lately? I hope these hard times are serving as a recaribration to what is true to you: your family, your passions and most of all, your health! πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»

See you soon,

Cristina πŸ’–πŸ’œπŸ’–
