Daler Rowney Pocket Sketchbook {video}
I wrote about this sketchbook some time ago and here you can find the post. There are many things to be said about this tiny sketchbook, but the most important it’s that you can use it for small rapid sketches on the go wherever you are. Just pick your sketchbook and start drawing. No drama included if you don’t create it! 😉
Today you’re going to see a half-flip through with what I’ve sketched/painted so far in this pocket sketchbook. There are some pages you already saw on my blog, but most of them are new to all of you. Enjoy!
PS. If you like the video, please leave a comment below, I would love to hear from you!
See you soon,
Cristina
Thanks for posting this review, Cristina. I actually had second thoughts about buying the SIMPLY Daler-rowney sketchbook the last time I was at an art store. I wasn’t sure if it would be suitable for water media. I opted for an A5 Monologue ™ sketchbook instead. It’s gross grained and able to take water well. Price is reasonable too.
I still would want to get a Daler Rowney sketchbook though. Maybe the Ivory one. I’ve read good reviews of it on Amazon.
Keep those art journal flip videos coming. I love watching them! So inspiring… 🙂
Thanks for your lovely comment, Connie! Yeah, as I was saying, Daler Rowney “Simply… Sketching” it does not take water well. It’s student grade quality. But hey, it’s meant for sketching. And I guess so far has done the work better than I’ve expected!
I like all the variety I am seeing in your sketchbook.
Thank you very much, Louise! I’m glad you like it!
