December it’s here, welcome!

I can’t believe the end of the year it’s just around the corner. It is just me or this year passed by incredibly fast?? Being so close to the Christmas time makes me feel nostalgic, although the month of December was marked by the leaving of my father to other dimension. But even so, I said to myself I won’t let this passing cast a shadow on every December because I know this is not what my father wanted.

In the last couple of months, I did a lot of digital artwork and I never thought I’ll say this, but I kinda started to like it a lot: the idea, the process, the outcome. Each time I get new interesting digital effects that are so cool to create that I almost became addictive. The limits are bound only by my own imagination 😊

But I still love drawing on paper more! This is a portrait sketch I did today after a photo reference of an Indian woman … I can’t wait to add some acrylic and watercolor paints or even gesso, because I like the matte affect it adds to the paintings.
