Art Journaling

I am beloved

No sketch for today, but an old page I had unfinished in my art journal.

Nu am o schita pentru astazi, doar o pagina mai veche care statea neterminata la mine in jurnal.

This is how the page was looking before deciding it’s time to do something about it. I started with her hair and added some purple color using neocolors 2 and INKtense pencils.

Asa arata pagina inainte de a decide ca e timpul sa o termin cumva. Am inceput prin a adauga putin purpuriu in parul ei cu ajutorul creioanelor neocolor 2 si INKtense.

Then Added skin tones mixing again neocolors crayons with Inktense pencils.

Apoi am adaugat cateva culori ale pielii amestecand iar neocolors cu INKtense.

Until it looked like this! Notice I’ve also added a stamped flower in her hair.

Pana cand a inceput sa arate asa! Am adaugat de asemenea o floare stampilata in parul ei.

And her blouse collar needed a message, too! B-E-L-O-V-E-D!

Iar gulerul bluzei ei avea nevoie de un mesaj!  I-U-B-I-T-A!

Let's say every day I'm giving-away the power of a smile and the power of positive affirmations. Let's stay focused on good, optimist things, rather what complain about the negative ones in our lives!

I'm Cristina {creativeMag} and I welcome you to smile every single day of your life! (smile especially when you don't feel like ;) You already feel better, isn't it?)

I'm a mixed media Artist, love to create mixed media art journal pages, paint on canvas, I have a thing for handmade jewelry, I'm learning French {again}, diving into German, perfecting Spanish to the native level, and loving life! My native language is Romanian and English comes as a second skin!

Always wear your smile, no matter what!

  1. Oh, this is fab! It’s amazing how much depth you’ve managed to add to that already beautiful artwork.

Oh, thank you, Connie! She was silently awaiting to be done! I love how this page started, the stamps you are seeing in the background are handmade stamps (I made them, yay!) (except the flower one, the one you get to see in her hair), and I was trying to see how they look on the paper!
