Using my son’s designs to create memories
If you have kids you definitely know how much they draw and paint all kind of things, so there are loose paper sheets everywhere and dozens of notebooks all over the place. They simply love to draw! My son is no exception, so he likes to draw all kind of things, like flowers, lines and different shapes. Most of these drawings are sketched on loose sheets of paper, so many them get lost all over the house. I throw away the majority of them, but some I like to keep and repurpose. They can serve as inspiration for new pages and I also like to keep them as a dear…

100dayproject – day 24
A much-needed break from whimsical faces comes with this simple yet so relaxing page I did today in my art journal. Colorful circles with playful look that are perfect when you want to relax and create something beautiful without the fuss of calling it art… Be it or not, this was a call for relaxation process. At first I thought these circles can be flowers, but then a simple may-green gel pen made them look beautiful so I decided to let the be just circles. So relax and let go of any expectations & just draw or paint something. This is so much fun! See you tomorrow with another page!

#the100dayproject – day 1
Horay! Here it’s the first day of #the100dayproject! Are you ready to get started?! For the first day, I wanted something pretty simple and abstract, so I got my neocolors 2 and got started with a scribbling all over the spread. 🎨 It doesn’t have to be something fancy, just some color out there in the page making sure I didn’t mix the warms with the cools. I’ve used some flat big brush to move the colors around the pages… And the background looks like this 😉 And then all kind of marks started to emerge… Y voila! Tomorrow I might try a sketch of a face… ❤️

#the100dayproject
Hello, dear art lovers!!! It’s been a while since my last post on the blog, but that does mean I haven’t created art in the meanwhile. Many pages have been filled in, and I’m proud to say that some of the faces are really gorgeous! I know what matters the most is the practice, so no matter what happens, practice as much as possible – if not daily, because that would make a difference and you’ll become more confident in your abilities to draw, sketch, paint or all together. And because I heeded something to keep me going and add a little bit of a challenge, I’m going to join…
