29 Faces September 2015 – Face #25 – baby face 2

I seem to like drawing and painting (this time) child faces. And how not to love them, when they are so cute and sincere?

It all started with a pencils sketch, only that this time I chose to add color and I did so using POSCA markers. I am still working in my journal-book, so that’s why the page is smudged all over the place with gesso and two colors.

POSCA markers are mate and opaque, but still, using my fingers to blend the color on the baby’s face was creating an uneven color. I had to make use of some acrylic paint to cover her face.

In the end, adding more and more layers, made her look like this! And I kinda love, love, love it! <3

Growing and growing! She’s all the time happy, cries very little and totally adorable!

      • I’m pleased to know that. =) Soon enough, she’ll be a toddler. Yes, kids grow up fast that’s why I try to cherish every moment I spend with mine.
