20 minutes art journaling – blue sky
I kinda like working in this little sketchbook turned into an art journal with the use of collage paper, inserts and most of all, gesso! When you gesso thin pages you instantly create a new waterproof layer ready for new art work. Some might prefer to draw directly on paper, but I'm a fan of gessoed paper. I'm halfway through this gorgeous journal and I can't wait to add more drawings to it!

Adding flowers and texture
After drawing and painting this face over here, I’ve realized that the other page of the spread was looking incomplete and needed an urgent change. Although the previous page was looking pretty good, wait to see how the spread came together … I wasn’t a fan of the spread so I decided to add some flowers to complete the whole spread. Drawing with wax crayons
It can be hard to find time and space to draw and paint with a little one, but not when he’s also into it! So in those moments I draw along with him. This time I thought it would be nice to see if I can draw a face using his Bic wax crayons, and the result was pretty surprising. I kinda like the way it looks and thw marks it leaves on the paper. Today is the Romanian National Day, La mulți ani, Romania! 🇷🇴🇷🇴🇷🇴 Im drawing and painting again in my Mixed Media CANSON journal and as I’m drawing this face, I rediscovered my junk journal sitting in my stash.
