Be inspired
It’s easy to get inspired by others. Simply pick one artist that you love and draw or paint in his style. Inspired by Juliette Crane, but with my own style! The idea is not to draw “like” X or Y, but to draw “like yourself”. This face just jumped in my journal when I wasn’t feeling like drawing anything at all. In fact, the background of the page was done one night, when sleepless, I took my journal and watercolor set and started to “paint” on the page….with lights off. The result?
