Collage little girl

I’m still working in my handmade brown paper art journal, this time trying to add collage to the pages. Not what I wanted when I started this page, but this is what I got in the end:

Inca lucrez in jurnalul handmade din hartie maro de ambalaj, iar de data asta incerc sa adaug un colaj in pagina. Nu a iesit tocmai ce mi-am imaginat eu cand m-a apucat de aceasta pagina, dar asta e rezultatul final.

I’ve started with gesso and spray inks. I then wrote some thoughts and the idea of adding a collage came in…obviously with a face on it!

Am inceput prin a adauga gesso si sprayuri cu cerneala. Apoi am asternut cateva ganduri si mi-a venit idea sa adaug un colaj…evident, cu o fata pe el!

The only thing I didn’t like is the size of the face: too little for my taste. I’m used to draw big and I feel I have no space when drawing little faces like this one. The advantage when drawing so little is that won’t take too much time to complete such a face/page.

Singurul lucru care nu mi-a placut a fost dimensiunea fetei: prea mica pentru gusturile mele. Sunt obisnuita sa desenez mult mai mare, iar aceasta fata micuta mi-a dat impresia ca am prea putin spatiu sa ma desfasor. Avantajul atunci cand desenati la dimensiuni reduse este ca veti termina mai repede o astfel de fata/pagina.
