Mixed media page – messy pigtail braids
I have already started a series with these charcoal faces that keep appearing in my art journals. I cannot help but loving this mix between charcoal pencil and acrylic paints more and more. It created a beautiful layer on the face and there are no rules regarding what you are allowed to use or not. Happy New Year dear creative soul! The reason why I haven’t post here lately is simply because I wanted to take a break and stay away from computer during the holiday season as much as I could. It’s been a wonderful year, and another one even more wonderful lies ahead. I’m more than happy and grateful for an amazing 2015, and can’t wait for the beautiful 2016 to start! And again, lovely charcoal
I drew this right next to the male face, with the intend to color her as I did with him, but I loved how the charcoal blended with gesso and decided to only add some background and leave the face as is. Am desenat fata asta chiar langa cea a barbatului pe care l-ati vazut, avand intentia de a o colora la fel ca pe el, dar mi-a placut cum s-a amestecat grundul alb cu carbunele asa ca am ales sa-i adaug doar un fundal si sa las fata asa cum o vedeti.
