Today I stumbled upon a card illustrating blooming poppies. I said to myself that those would make a fine collage in my journal. I cut a few blooming poppies and a few poppy bods to match them together, and glue them down on the page, leaving some space for lettering. I misaligned the word “blossoming” and went with it on the other page.
But even so, I like this page, and I like the message:
Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature – Gerard De Nerval
I also added some watercolor to ‘bond’ the elements and this page is ready.
In the end, I splashed the page with a brush creating an interesting effect.
